As a Dance Studies major, you’ll receive comprehensive technical dance training built on a solid liberal arts foundation. This allows for the opportunity to double major and connect outside interests, preparing you for a wide range of careers.
In the »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Dance program, you’ll study a wide range of dance techniques including ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, and improvisation. You’ll also take various theory courses such as choreography and dance pedagogy, and have the opportunity to study with dance professionals through rehearsals and guest artist residencies. As a »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË Dance Studies major, you will hone your voice and craft as a future artist.

First-Years
All freshman applicants to »Ê¼Ò»ªÈËs full-time degree programs must submit the following information:- A completed application form
- An official high school transcript
- SAT and/or ACT scores (unless applying Test-Optional)
- Academic recommendation
Transfers
Applying to »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË as a transfer student is easy.A completed application form
- Personal statement
- All official college transcripts
- Social standing form
If transferring less than 24 credits, we also need your:
- Official high school transcript
- SAT and/or ACT scores
Internationals
