Tuition and Fees

International students are required to certify that they have sufficient funds available for your academic and living expenses. Travel expenses to and from the United States will be extra and are not included.

    • If the language of instruction at your most recent school is not English, submit at least one of the following exams with a minimum score.

After You've Applied

Using your username and PIN provided by »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË, login to your Applicant Status Page to review your personalized checklist. Submit any outstanding items. Once we receive all your documents, your application will be presented to the Admissions Committee for review.

After Being Accepted

You must obtain certain documents as an international student before arriving on campus. Submit these through you Applicant Status Page.

  • Bank Verification Letter of Funds/
    • International students must show sufficient funds available for your academic and living expenses each semester. International students are not eligible for payment plans and will need to provide documentation showing the semesterly bill can be paid in full prior to the bill due date.
  • Current Passport OR I-20 AND Student F-1 Visa

For an I-20, submit the following items:

  • A copy of your valid passport's biological page
  • Bank Verification Letter of Funds/Financial Certification Form
  • Letter from the government, if applicable, indicating plans to pay for education/expenses

Once your I-20 has been issued, you'll be enrolled in the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)

  1. Pay the SEVIS 1-901 fee online.
  2. Complete the DS-160 online visa application.
  3. Use the fee collection slip from your submitted DS-160 and pay the processing fee.
  4. Obtain a payment receipt.
  5. Make an appointment at your local U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate.
  6. Review the site's list of documents to bring to your interview.
  7. Confirm your passport is valid for six months beyond date of entry to the U.S.

Office of International Students

The College's Designated School Officials (DSOS) seek to have an ongoing relationship with each international student, to assist students with immigration and employment regulations, legal rights and responsibilities, adjustment to Lakeland and the United States, and other various personal concerns.

Once You’re On Campus...

Check in with Ryan Walsh in the Carlisle Rogers Building. As a new first-year or transfer student coming to »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË you will need to make an appointment to meet with Mr. Walsh upon your arrival. You will need to bring three documents: your passport, visa, and I-20.

About to Graduate?

If it is your last semester but you wish to stay in the United States and work, the Optional Practical Training (OPT) application and information may be for you.
