Before working in the Office of Admissions - I worked as a high school teacher, teaching juniors & seniors US History and Government. Now, I get that warm feeling every time I step foot on this campus, here at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË!

What do you enjoy most about working in »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË’s Office of Admissions?:
Before working in the Office of Admissions - I worked as a high school teacher, teaching juniors & seniors US History and Government. I always encouraged them by telling them once you find a college campus to call home - you just know it. It's that feeling in your heart that you get to call your own for the next four years. Do you have a favorite spot on campus?:
The Polk Museum of Art at »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË! It's one of our hidden gems, which is located two blocks north of our campus and is one of handful Smithsonian-Affiliated art museums within the state of Florida. You can always find world-class exhibits on display and they just announced a new expansion of 13,000 square feet with construction happening soon!
Do you have any favorite music, books, and TV shows?:
From the Below Deck series on Bravo to Big Brother! You can always find me with a Harry Potter book on the beach if you can't find me in the office!
What would be a perfect Saturday?:
If it's not snuggling with our miniature schnauzer (whose name is Wilkie) on the couch - you can find us exploring any of the Disney theme parks! If you can - get a theme park annual pass (there are so many to choose from in our area) - and only visit for a few hours, then you can always go back for more in the future.
What is your favorite local restaurant?:
Harry's Seafood in downtown Lakeland is my favorite restaurant! In all of my years living in Lakeland, I've never had a disappointing meal. Save room for dessert because their Oreo beignets are out of this world!
What is something surprising about you?:
One of my first careers after finishing my undergraduate studies is that I worked for Disney and then became a flight attendant for a major US airline.
