I believe the most important skill is having the ability to explain things in a different way when a student has a question or isn't connecting with the material. If what you said confused them the first time, it will likely do the same if you repeat it verbatim.

Biography

I have worked in the accounting industry for over seventeen years. I received my B.S. in Accounting from USF - St. Pete and my MAcc. with a concentration in taxation from USF - Tampa. I worked for a local accounting firm while finishing my master's degree, and I started my own firm shortly after graduating, which grew from five to almost 400 clients. After losing a wealthy client to an estate planner, I decided to go to law school so that I could write wills and trusts myself. Shortly before graduating, I merged my firm with a long-standing local firm to allow me time to focus on forming an estate planning practice.
