Sharon and Jim France '68 Admissions Building

2017

In 2017, a new admissions center was constructed to serve the growing needs of the College and heightened enrollment levels. The building, designed by Jeffrey Baker of the Mesick Cohen Wilson Baker firm, was completed in January 2018 and overlooks Lake Hollingsworth. It serves as the central office building for the Enrollment department and the Admissions department.

The building was named for alumnus and NASCAR CEO (Class of 1968) and his wife Sharon. Jim France graduated from »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË in 1968 with a business degree. He worked for his father, NASCAR co-founder William Henry Getty France, at ISC since 1959. France and his brother took over NASCAR and ISC after their father died in 1992. In August of 2016, France became CEO and chairman of NASCAR.
